Family Owned
Winckley Payroll Services was set up in the 1980s due to the growing demand of clients wanting to electronically calculate their employee’s payroll. We have been through all major changes in the PAYE system including P32 year end reporting, the recent changes to Real Time Information reporting and Auto-Enrolment legislation.
The business has been family-owned since the start with Adam Calvert and Chris Calvert now succeeding Neil Calvert, in the same way as Rushtons Chartered Accountants.
History
The name Winckley comes from when the business was located in Starkie House on Winckley Square, Preston. Winckley Square is historically the centre for accountants, lawyers and professional services in Preston.
In 2013 the business moved to purpose-built offices in Fulwood where there is now ample parking and space for if clients wish to visit us.
